Back to School

The Simon Says Challenge this week is to make a back to school project. I really don't have any school themed stamps so I made this altered mini notebook. Every student needs to take notes. You have probably seen me share a tote and card in the past that coordinates with this. Slowly but surely, I'm putting together a whole coordinating gift set.

Masculine birthday card

When I needed a masculine card at the last minute this week, I realized that I don't have nearly enough of them on hand. So I combined the color challenge at Stam pTV with the sketch at The Pink Elephant's sketch challenge and came up with this card yesterday. The Goodness of Life

When you think about it, the goodness of life is not in all the big things, it's the little things, like a cup of coffee, shared with a friend, or savored in a quite moment to oneself. And the goodness of life is also found in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I created this card for a new challenge blog I discovered last week- Stampin Sisters in Christ. The focus scripture is: Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." John 6:35 (NIV) and the challenge is to create a card with a food or drink theme. I used the sketch from this week's challenge at PaperTake Weekl y for my design. Stamps : Verve Paper : BasicGrey Accents : Ribbon, rhinestones (Michael's)

Cruisin...

I've been out of town for a few days, thus my excuse for no Two for Tuesday. I meant to schedule it before I left, but ran out of time. I did get to make a card for a challenge while I was away and had some down time, so I'll share it with you before I go unpack and get ready to return to work. I made this for the Stampin for the Weekend Challenge . It's a color challenge this week- pink and grey. I used pink and grey and some other colors, so I hope it still counts. Stamps: Cruisabella by Stamping Bella Paper: We R Memory Keepers Tools: Cup from the motel room to trace circle (hehe)

No stamping this week

(frown) .... I've been sick and still busy with work and trying to catch up things at home, so I have not been able to stamp. But I did get to make this card that I'm sharing for the CPS sketch this week. There was no stamping involved at all. All of my supplies are from Little Yellow Bicycle except for the ghosts and rub on stitches. I cut the ghosts from some stiff glitter felt with my Big Shot and the ghosts 2 die. The rub-ons are by DCWV. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend. Maybe I'll be back later with something else to share.
