Beaded earrings - the final

Here's the final pair in my March Madness earring series. I've actually made an additional two pair, but I'll share those later. I made these to go with a necklace I made for my mother last year. She had been asking for some matching earrings. For something similar you will need: silver beads white faceted (rondel ?) beads round gemstone beads jump rings eye pins head pins earring wires I question the name of some of my beads because I am not experienced enough with beads to remember the names. I started saving the packaging, but I don't have it for these. String a silver bead and white faceted bead onto a head pin and make a wrapped loop at the top. String a round bead on an eye pin and make a loop at the top. Join those two units with a jump ring. Attach ear wires and enjoy. Be sure to follow me to find out what I'm going to do with some of these earrings I've made this month. There just might be a giveaway in the works. ...

Falling leaves

Hey! Welcome to all my new readers or followers. If any of you are new moms or know a new mom, then be sure to enter the Ruby Red Handmade onesie giveaway . That little darling will look so cute in one of those. Today's earrings are just charming- pun intended. This pair is made from chain, charms and jumps rings. That's really all you need, other than your earring wires and pliers. For each earring, I used approximately 1 1/4 inches of chain and seven leaf charms. I attached each charm to the chain with a jump ring, alternating side to side. I attached the earring wire to the top loop of the chain. That's it. Easy! I totally recommend this for someone just beginning to make jewelry. For a tutorial on the proper way to open and close jump rings, go HERE  or HERE . Earrings with a little color

Another pair of earrings in my March Madness earring posts. This set has a pop of color. To make these you will need: textured rings jump rings earring wires head pins beads ( I used round beads and Crystazzi bicones) Sorry I didn't take any photos of the steps along the way. I made most of these during my lunch breaks at work. You will string each bead on a head pin and form a wrapped loop. As you are making your bead units, attach them to each other before completing the loops. Then take the top one and attach it to your textured loop with a jump ring. Attach the earring wire to the tops of the textured loops with another jump ring. Still pretty simple. Double rings

Here's another pair of earrings in my " March Madness" earring frenzy. These are actually very simple. You will need: Chain Jump rings Head pins earring wires pliers 2 beads Those two loops are actually a section of chain, the same chain I used in the Stella and Dot knock off.  Cut a section of chain with two loops. String a bead onto a head pins and form a wrapped loop. Using a jump ring attach it to the bottom of the small ring. Use another jump ring to attach the ear wires. That's it. Kate Spade inspired earrings

Welcome to my first official post of March Madness- Bring on the Bling. Remember I made some earrings last week and could not stop at one pair? I'm on a earring/jewelry kick and will be making and sharing more this month in this series. (BTW- don't forget to enter the giveaway for a custom photo card or invitation from Simply Rosy- there's a link above in the header.) I was surfing a fashion/style blog recently and saw these Kate Spade earrings posted. Source I was inspired to make these (they are not a copy or even the same shape, just my version that was inspired by those):
