Today is Bella's birthday. She's 2. Bella is our Belgian malinois shephard. And our child! Since we don't have any kids, she gets all the lovin' and attention. And she's worth it. We drove all the way to Texas from Georgia to get her in 2009. She comes from a reputable breeder and was well trained even at 12 weeks. She's incredibly intelligent, curious, and so loving! Here are her special treats that she got today. The sell these at Pet Supplies Plus. They are iced cookies but there is no sugar in them or anything bad for dogs. I've been a horrible blogger lately. I didn't do my regular Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday posts this last week. I haven't shared many cards either. Here's why: We took a 17 hour road trip (one way!) over the Fourth of July weekend to pick up this beautiful little girl. Recovering from the trip and getting her settled into her new home and schedule has taken up a lot of my time. But she is so worth it. Our beloved Tarra (you can see her here) passed away at the first of June. We miss her but this little stinker has brought lots of joy back.

May 4-10 is National Pet Week. Here's our girl- isn't she beautiful? I have special plans to scrapbook a page about her or even do a framed page for a wall display, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Knowing this is pet week has me thinking about pet inspired creations. Do you need some inspiration?
