Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry

Makes me want some ice cream. Maybe it's just because I'm hungry. Here's a quick post to share my ATS card made with the Card Patterns layout (quick because I have to go cook dinner!) I was inspired by the guest designer's card to use the ribbon but didn't go all out like she did. The ATS challenge is for pink and brown. I love that combo. Easter easel card

I hope everyone is enjoying this first day of spring more than I am. I am sick with allergies and sinus infection so I'm not feeling well. I did manage to finish this card I started last night. I'm sharing it in a few challenges. Paper Sundaes is asking for a multifold easter or spring card. I have been meaning to try the easel card for a while. I think I'm hooked! This was easier than I thought and so pretty. The layout of my card front is the sketch from Midnight Madness #45 . This is the first time I've played there. Turning green

It's almost time for everthing to turn green again. "Green" or St. Patrick's was the theme for this week's ATS challenge and Stamp Something wants to see green and cream. I combined these with the Motivet sketch challenge . I am so glad I finally got to play with a Motivet sketch. They are gorgeous and after eyeing all the beautiful creations on their blog I got some stamps for Valentine's Day. After a month, I've finally found time to play with them. I swapped sides with some of the elements on this sketch as I thought it more appropriate given the direction the image faces. Thanks for visiting. Here is my card.

Celebration

FLourishes is having a celebration and has had a week full of challenges. I made this card for Timeless Tuesday celebration theme and for Cute Card Thursday . Most celebrations involve gifts, so I've used an image from All Wrapped Up. My colors come from Color Throwdown's color chall enge and the layout of my card is from Friday Sketchers . Here is my card: Stamps: Flourishes Paper: BasicGrey Tools: Copics; Nestabilities Accents: Prima flowers, rhinestones, brad Here are the copics I used: Thanks for looking and sharing your comments! Don't forget to spring forward! At this hour, I am going to really miss my hour tomorrow.

This lovely fairy has lots of sparkle and shine. The image is from All That Scraps C.C. Designs (Sparkle Thistleweed). She's been colored with Copics and the papers are from We R Memory Keepers. The ribbon is from Michael's and the flowers are Primas. This card was made for the following challenges: All That Scraps- Dots and Stripes Copic Colour challenge Charisma Cardz- Fairies SFYTT

Girly in Coffee and Cream

I am loving this color challenge issued by Whiff of Joy . It is so vintage looking. I also thought this was the perfect image for these colors. I've combined this with Simon Says Girly/feminine challenge and Stamp Somethings Girly challenge . I also used the lace, pearls, and pin for the challenge at Creative Inspirations (although I may be a wee bit late due to time zone differences). I used Mercy's sketch . Papers are by K&Co. and the image was colored with Copics.

Lucky to have you

Stamp: Phindy's Place - Lots of Luck to You Paper: Cosmo Cricket Tools: Nestabiliies Accents: Ribbon, button (Michael's); brads, flowers Isn't she precious? Sweet baby girl

Simon Says has set a "baby" theme for its challenge. I thought this sweet bunny from Digital-Ink Co. would be perfect for a baby card. On top of that, The Pink Elephant has set a color challenge- all about pink- perfect for a baby girl card. The layout of my card is based on Sketch Saturday's sketch. The paper is from K&Co. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils.

Back with some rubbah!!

Told ya I'd go back to rubber in a bit. Here is a card I made for the Whiff of Joy challenge (colors aqua and red) using the sketch saturday sketch . I love this color combo. Coloring was done with Prismacolor pencils on this one. Stamp: MFT Paper: K&Co. Tools: Nestabilities Accents: Brads

Yes I did..

I dug deep into that old stash of papers for this one. This is some really old K&Co. paper. I must have gotten it 6-7 years ago and off ebay at that. (Please tell me I'm not the only one holding on to paper for 6-7 years.) This paper had the colors I was looking for. I made this card for the color throwdown challenge . Here are the colors I'm attempting to use: And that new punch I mentioned in my previous post- I used it too. My layout is based on the sketch at Stamp Something- this week's challenge is "sketch something". This is an anniversary card for my parents and for the Creative Inspirations challenge to make an anniversary card. Thanks for the push to get this done early. My parents have an anniversary at the end of this month. They are not as old as the folks in the image, but I thought it was so sweet. (Note and tip about the image: if it looks funny, it is in no way due to the quality of Mo's work. It is totally my fault. When I printed this, I...

One card, four challenges

I'm still trying to squeeze in a few cards and challenges here before Christmas. This one was made to fit four challenges. First I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers as my layout. The colors were inspired by Stampin for the weekend's color challenge - blue and brown. The Stamp Something challenge is for winter wonderland and Crazy4challenges is looking for snow or snowflakes. When I think of winter wonderland, I think of everything glistening so I added some stickles to my snowflakes. Here it is: Stamp :Digi stamp Ildi Co . Paper : Deja views; Bazzill Tools: Poseabilities snowflake die Accents: Stickles, crystal brads

Seeing red

Only on my cards, lol! I've got two cards to share today that I managed to get done over the weekend. First is one using the sketch from Mojo Monday 95 combined with the red, black and white color challenge at StampTV. I colored the flower stamp with Marvy Markers and then stamped it. I filled in the flowers and leaves with prismacolor pencils. The large red panel was embossed with a Sizzix texture plate. Paper : Cardstock (Black-Bazzill); other Stamps: Simple Pleasures GinaK Designs Tools: Martha Stewart Zig Zag punch; Nestabilites long and scalloped long rectangles; classic rectangle Accents: Ribbon Card size: 6.5 x 5 in. Next is a card I made for a new challenge I discovered - Digital Tuesday Challenge . Digi stamps are beginning to be very popular and I discovered this challenge blog last week. Along with a digi stamp you are to use 2 design papers and 3 embellishments. I used three acrylic stones, three punched flowers and three button brads for embellishments. Now that I...

Another sketch and color challenge

I used the sketch at Stamp Something for this card, along with StampTV's color challenge. I never have a sympathy card on hand when I need one, and I decided I like this color combo for a sympathy card after making the one I shared yesterday, so that's what I made. Paper : BasicGrey wisteria Stamp : A Year of Flowers, GinaK Designs Accents : brads

Sketch and color challenge

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I found a little time to do some stamping. I'm catching up on some challenges. Here is my card for Mojo Monday 87. I'm a little late with this but fairly early to submit it for the OCC challenge this week, which is to use a sentiment as the focal. The sentiment on this card is from Verve. I love this quote. The colors were inspired by the PCP color challenge . Paper : HOTP; Bazzill Stamp : Verve Accents : rhinestone Tools : Cuttlebug swiss dots folder; Martha Stewart butterfly punch; Nestabilities circles and scalloped circles; scalloped scissors
