Sisal rope frame

After falling in love with sisal rope projects and the nautical flair they can add to coastal decor, I decided to try my hand at making my own rope picture frame. This mirror was my inspiration piece: source It's really quite easy. All you need is a frame, sisal rope, and a hot glue gun (with glue of course.) I started with this frame from Michael's. I purchased an unfinished wood scrapbook frame from Michael's. Here is the result of my efforts. I didn't use a Verve stamp because I don't have any guy themed ones, but I thought this Simple Thoughts- Dog from a Cloud 9 Design set was perfect for my project and some future pet pages and frames I plan to do.
