Looking back- Novembers past

Yikes! Tomorrow is Dec. 1! 24 days til Christmas, less if you need to have gift ready ahead of time. Before I freak out too much, let's take this last day of November to look back at projects from Novembers past. Some of you have never seen these, and I tend to forget about them myself so this has become a fun little feature for me. These were popular (I need to make more for some stockings). Felt flowers     I also made a felt yarn wreath.       Embellished pumpkins     Mini cone trees (I'm using these again this year.)     Painted rattan balls     Treat bag toppers   It looks like November is full of fall projects and decor with jump start on Christmas. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Happy hearts

I've taken a little break from the cleaning and organizing to craft something. I mean, the craft room is clean and organized ( I have just a few touches to add before I unveil it) so shouldn't I enjoy this room? Back at Halloween I made treat bag toppers, so I've adapted that to Valentine's Day and made Valentine heart toppers . These are made with Marvy Mega and Giga heart punches. The plain heart is the mega and the scalloped heart is from the Giga punch. I used a 1 1/2 inch  circle punch to punch out the circle words from The Cutting Cafe.  I applied ink to the edges of the circles. Everything is stacked and mounted with pop dots for dimension. A piece of pipe cleaner is run through two holes in the largest heart to serve as a twist tie. These are easy and fun to make. I'll be linking up to the parties on the side. Thanks for stopping by!

EEK- More treat toppers

I'm still working on my treat bags for the trick-or-treaters this year. I came up with another treat topper design . It's made the same as this one, but uses different papers and stamps. I added ribbon to this one. While you're here, hop over to this post and enter my giveaway.  I'll be linking up to the great parties on the side this week and at Get Your Craft on Tuesday.

Halloween treat toppers

I've started working on my designs for treat bags . I usually make about 50 treat bags for the trick or treaters that come our way. You can see last year's design here . This year I wanted to do something a little different. I punched some skulls out of K&Co. paper and attached them to punched scalloped circles. I stamped "spooky" and cut out strips and attached to the bottom circle as well.  I've punched holes in the bottom layer to insert a twist tie into to attach them to the bag.  I'm including some photos so you can get a better idea. Treat bag toppers

Life is still busy and crazy! I'm trying to get some treat bag toppers made for the Halloween candy I'll be giving away this weekend. Since I was making these anyway, I squeezed in a few challenges with them. The first one is for Stamp Something - Halloween . I used a digi image from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. (I'm using digi images because there is no clean, flat surface to stamp on in my craft space right now.) I did some pen detailing and that's about it. Oh, I colored the image with my Marvy Markers. The next topper is for the Digital Tuesday challenge to use kraft, orange and one other color. It's also for Stampin for the weekend - Fangtastic Halloween. The digi image is a Dustin Pike freebie . I colored this one with colored pencils and embellished with ribbon and a brad. Thanks for looking. I hope you are having a great week.
