Spearmint trees and a candy tablescape

I used the gumdrop tree again this year and used the same color scheme for my Christmas tablescape, but I changed things up a little this time.

I placed candy canes in hurricane vases in epsom salts. I was inspired by The Inspired Room to do this.

Of course the gumdrop tree is the center piece.

I made some faux wrapped candies to lay about.

I picked up some lollipop ornaments from Target in my colors and tucked them into ribbon that I tied around my napkins.

I'm using the same red and blue Target plates as last year.

I created two mini trees from green hard spearmint candies. I love how these look. I had always put it off because I thought it was a waste of candy and that they might attract bugs, but I have $3.00 invested in both trees and so far, no bugs. I made the cone shapes for the trees from some poster board I already had.

I'm pleased overall with how this turned out, and it's truly a candy theme tablescape this year.

I'll be sharing at Tablescape Thursday and some of these great parties:
