Tshirt bracelet

While making my tshirt scarf and necklaces, I was hit with the inspiration to make something else with the leftover part of the shirt. The sleeves and the top is leftover when you make the scarf or necklace.

While surfing the tshirt scarves, I came across Necklush and their bracelets.

Now what part of that leftover shirt would make the perfect bracelet size loops? The sleeves!!! I was so excited that I actually thought of that myself. I pulled out a grey and white tshirt from the donate pile and cut those sleeves too.

All you need to do is cut off the hemmed edge of the sleeve and discard it (or keep it for a rolled rosette). Then cut strips from the sleeves the same way you do for the tshirt necklace. Gently stretch. Twist together. Slip a large spacer ring over the twisted strip before you attach any findings. Take some large jump rings and attach to each end. I I then attached two more smaller jump rings and a toggle clasp. You can use any clasp you like. I also stitched the strips at each end to help keep the loops twisted. Just a few stitches through all layers is all it takes.

Now go cut up those tshirt sleeves and make a matching bracelet for your scarf or necklace.
