A spooky spider tablescape

Hello and welcome to my table! I hope you aren't afraid of spiders. Quite a few made their way onto the table, but maybe the crows will pick them off before they get to you.

I started my Halloween tablescape with a black and white polka dot runner and then covered it with some creepy cloth from the Dollar Store. I took a black craft pumpkin, some spiders, and crows and created a centerpiece. It's perched on top of a crystal bowl that I turned upside down for a stand. I'll share a little more about it in the next post.

I used white placemats, black plates, and glasses all from the Dollar Tree. I used the white greek key salad plate on top of the black ones The napkins were thrifted and I made the napkin rings a couple of years ago.

I also made some spider hurricane vases just by taking my plain clear vases from the Dollar Tree, some black cardstock, and my spider punch. I attached the spiders with glue dots so I can easily remove them later. Quick and easy! I love how these turned out.

I've also got some glitter skulls perched on candleholders.

A few cobwebs

Here's a different version of the place setting. I picked up these cute spider  appetizer plates but I used the white plates because I wanted to stick to the black and white theme.  Which one do you like best?

I placed a flock of crows in the chandelier. I think they add to the spookiness.

Did you know that we have a butler? Hehe, I couldn't resist putting this guy in a shot. Halloween is the hubby's favorite holiday, so we have lots of props.

oh and this guy.... I think he enjoyed dinner. Looks like he's taking away leftovers.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Oh what fun! I love the spiders and the crows! Great job! The spider webbing looks great- I love hate that stuff! It never quite does what I want and seems to stick to my dry skin!! Makes me batty!
    Love your spooks too!

    1. Thanks. I agree, the spider webbing can be frustrating, but the good thing is you can just string it out, it doesn't have to be perfect.
