I've got just a couple of cards to share. My Christmas rush hasn't stopped yet and I haven't had as much time to play as I'd like. Hopefully by the end of the weekend, I'll get the house back in order and I'll be able to play.
I squeezed in Laura's Sketch 16 at 2sketches4you.
Here's my card:
It's also doubling as my card for the Jacksonbelle Embellishments New Year's Eve Challenge #2. The challenge was to make a card using black, white, or vanilla and shiny. My pic doesn't really show you how shiny my card is but the silver is metallic paper and I have some rhinestones on there. I couldn't help but add that pop of red! That is a felt heart I cut with my new Big Shot! Hubby got me just what I asked for as a Christmas gift.
Here's another shot of the card:
I love Jen's Saturday sketches so I got in a card for that one too.
I moved the accent piece to the right side. I thought it just went better there on my card. The dog and the bone is an Inkadinkado stamp. I colored the dog with markers. I'm not very good at that. I also stamped a paw inside.
This card is also doubling as the Jacksonbelle Embellishments New Year's Eve challenge #3. The challenge was to make a card that reflected your New Year's resolution and if you didn't have one, to use some of your neglected stash. Well, I tell ya, this really fits the bill. The star paper on that card has been in my stash for about five years! I got it off ebay in a lot of papers when I first started scrapbooking and making cards! How's that for using some neglected stash. (Please tell me I'm not the only one with five year old papers. I know, I know, I've got to do some purging.)
