While I was on the bobby pin kick, I made myself some colored ones.

I made some plain ones and some color blocked pins.
How exactly does one do this?
Grab some plain bobby pins, cardstock or card board and your favorite nail polishes. Slide the pins on the card and paint away. If you want color blocked pins, let one coat thoroughly dry and then place strips of painter's tape over the pin. Paint in between the tape in colors you like. Easy!

This is a great idea. I'll have to show this to my daughter, she wears bobby pins in her hair a lot.
