I hope you are having a wonderful Easter! And I hope it's because you know the risen Saviour. Now that my visiting and celebrating is pretty much over, I'm posting my photo for P52 this week. The theme is foolin around. I knew that I wanted to get a shot of Bella playing for this. She does some of the funniest things when she gets her toy and gets on her back and twists around with it. It was Friday afternoon before I could get some shots. Earlier in the week she would stop playing whenever I picked up the camera. Here are a couple that I liked.

There was no Friday Feature today. As much as I like to feature and promote others, I've decided to discontinue this as a regular post. I just need to cut something out and this can be time consuming to communicate with others and make sure I have the post done on time. This post was not getting many views each week either, and no one commented with their opinion last week here or on Facebook, so it doesn't seem to be worth the time it involves. Maybe I'll replace it with a different kind of regularly scheduled post, but it won't be something that demands I do it each week. That way there will be a little less stress involved. Thanks for reading and following and I'm open to any suggestions of something you'd like to see here. I'm thinking of doing a "Friday Finds" where I just share neat tips or things I've found. I found these napkin rings on the net from S cissors and Spatulas and decided I had to try out my own. Instead of mini wreaths, I purchased some wood napkin rings and painted them. Here are the supplies I started with. I just glued the eggs into the nests and then attached the nests to the painted rings. I discovered that the wire that was holding the nest to the package was perfect for wiring it to the ring, so I can remove them from the rings if I ever want to change them up. Once my napkin rings were done, I went about setting my Easter table. I went to the Dollar Tree for some plain white plates and they did not have four alike! I came home with these green ones instead, which I really like now that the whole tablescape is complete. I wanted to do something similar to my gumdrop and candy tablescape from Christmas, so I placed some egg candles and painted wooden eggs on candlesticks the same way I used ornaments at Christmas. I brought back out some of last year's projects and added some new things for my Easter/Spring mantel. Some of the new stuff will stay out after Easter until I change it up for summer. One of the returning items was my "He Is Risen" banner. Also returning from last year are the egg topiary and broken jewelry cross . The birdhouses are new. I'll share more details on those in a couple of days. I used my spring and easter plates that I made recently, along with last year's butterfly specimen art. I've got some baskets and hubby's collection of eggs on the hearth, along with some other little mini baskets and figures. It's a happy mantel. I'm enjoying looking at it every day, especially the banner and it's reminder of what it is we are celebrating. Thanks for stopping by. I was doing some online window shopping this weekend, which made me think that I could save a lot of money if I'd improve my sewing skills. Skirts and sheath dresses in particular could be made for so much less than what you pay retail for them. Here's the final pair in my March Madness earring series. I've actually made an additional two pair, but I'll share those later. I made these to go with a necklace I made for my mother last year. She had been asking for some matching earrings. For something similar you will need: silver beads white faceted (rondel ?) beads round gemstone beads jump rings eye pins head pins earring wires I question the name of some of my beads because I am not experienced enough with beads to remember the names. I started saving the packaging, but I don't have it for these. String a silver bead and white faceted bead onto a head pin and make a wrapped loop at the top. String a round bead on an eye pin and make a loop at the top. Join those two units with a jump ring. Attach ear wires and enjoy.
