Celebrate the new year!

I made this card earlier this week, but I'm just now getting it posted. We spent all afternoon packing Christmas stuff up. It feels good to sit down and actually have a few minutes to spare.

I made this card for the Pink Elephant sketch challenge and for Simons Says "Party" challenge. The image is from Victoria Case. He is called Puppy cakes. I colored him with my copics.

DID I MENTION I GOT COPICS FOR CHRISTMAS??!!! ISN"T MY HUBBY WONDERFUL?? He is still scratching his head as to why a "magic marker" should cost so much, but he is impressed with the quality of the color. I am still learning to color with these and learning to get the right paper combo with them. I started out on my Wassau paper so you may see a little bleed. At first, I thought I had forgotten how to stay inside the lines, then I figured out it was probably the paper so I will try my GinaK cardstock next. I'm so new to copics that I didn't keep up with the colors I used. I'll try to next time so I can share.

Okay, on to the card. Thanks for looking:
