I'm just popping in tonight with a quick little DIY project- a paper straw picture frame. I started with a blank wood frame from Michaels.
I painted it with a coat of white paint. Once it was dry, I measured the width of the edges and cut the straws to fit. I found these straws in the clearance bin at Michael's. They were Christmas straws but also perfect for Valentine's Day. I glued each straw piece with hot glue. Simple.

Oh I keep seeing paper straws in Michaels $1.50 section and now I have a reason not to leave them in the store. Featuring when my link party opens up tonight!
