This card is one of those little surprises. You know, when you start out with a sketch or idea but you have no idea what the end result will be, because you just don't have the card pictured in your head. And then when you're finished, you're very surprised and pleased. I'm pleased with this.
I started with the Dutch Dare Card Challenge to use no pink or red on a love themed card, so I chose black and blue. Well, really, black and white, and the blue somehow just worked its way in there. I used the sketch from CPS. It also fits the challenge for Stamp Something to make a valentine something and Caardvarks heart challenge, so I may just link it up there as well. I heat embossed those silver hearts. I used a heart background stamp that I've had for .. ahem, a few years and had not used yet. Oh.. one more neat detail. The scallops on the heart were made by punching hole punch size circles out of cardstock and gluing them to the edge of the heart.
Paper: Cardstock
Stamp: Inkadinkado
Accents: Paper flowers, rhinestones, Cloud9Design love stickers
Tools: Martha Stewart zig zag punch; Stampendous embossing powder (silver tinsel)
