Three in one

Happy World Card Making Day! I'm hoping to get geared up here in a bit. First, I just finished up a card I made for some weekly challenges. We've had a couple of deaths in our church family this week so I need to send some sympathy cards. Perfect timing for the "thinking of you/ praying for you" challenge at Stampin Sisters in Christ. It is always hard to know what to say to a grieving family, but the challege verse there is a prayer we can all pray before we speak in any situation:

Psalm 19:14: Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight Oh, Lord, my strength and my redeemer.

I also made this card for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday "outside the frame" and Papertake Weekly's black and white +1. I chose red. I think that is always a classic color combo. Here is my card:

Stamps: Flourishes Poppy Patch; Verve sentiment
Paper: Doodlebug, Making Memories
Tools: Martha Stewart Lace Doily Punch, Nestabilities ovals and scalloped ovals; Marvy Markers
