Spray painted pilgrims

Just a quick little post to share a paint transformation with you. I can't really call it a craft. All I had to do was spray a couple of coats of paint and I had updated Thanksgiving decor.

I found this pair of pilgrims at my local thrift store. I thought they would be a neat addition to my fall/Thanksgiving decor but I wasn't crazy about the color.

 

I wanted a richer, warmer color, but something still earthy and natural looking. I went for Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze, the same paint I used on my thrift store birdcage. I'm very happy with the results and this couple now has a place on my Thanksgiving tablescape.
