I have a few stocking stuffers to put together and I'll be totally done. With Christmas on the brain, I'm still wearing a lot of red. I was inspired by this pin to put these pieces from my closet together. I usually think of this skirt as a summer skirt only but with a long sleeve cardigan, it works for our mild winters. source   I don't have red shoes but almost came home with a pair of red patent peep toe pumps the other day. I've had these tumblers in my craft/ gift closet for a while now. They are designed to insert photos into the tumbler.  They started out as pictured below. Cute polka dots, but not really what I wanted. I also have not learned photoshop very well and did not know if I could manipulate a photo template to add photos. So... instead I printed out some fun chevron prints on an 8.5 x 11 in piece of cardstock. I took the existing paper in the tumbler and used it as a template to cut my cardstock.   I added a new Christmas swag to the Christmas front porch decor this year (see last year here ). I made mine loosely using the directions and photos from this year's issue of Better Homes and Gardens Christmas Ideas. You will need: a pine spray or swag* Christmas picks- berries, pinecones, etc ribbon floral wire *If you can't find one, get a garland and cut to desired length (from the end so you will have the loop for hanging). Add in pieces of cut garland until you get the shape want.  I picked up my swag at Joanns. I also added pine cone and berry picks. Just wire them in where you want them. Make a bow from ribbon and wire in as well. It was quick and easy to dress up the premade swag. The lace keeps the vest and overall look feminine. While the rest of the country was freezing, we were having a heat wave, so yes, I really wore this last Saturday. Linking up to WIWW .

  These cute little cupcake liner trees are another idea I saw while perusing magazines. (We spend a good many evenings at Books a Million drinking coffee and hanging out. Of course, you can find me in the back looking at the eye candy magazines.) These are so easy to do.   Find some cute cupcake liners. I picked up mine at Michael's 75/$1.00 and they had a bonus mini liner set in them. If I get around to making treats, I'll use those mini liners. Cut the center circle of the liner out.   You will be left with a ruffle that you can then glue or pin to a cone. I had some styrofoam cones in my stash. I decided to pin mine on. (Less committment- I can take them off if I need the cone for something else.) When you reach the top you will have an adorable ruffled tree. Here is one more way to use on old sweater, particularly an old tacky holiday sweater- make hoop ornaments.   I was perusing a holiday magazine and saw this idea. I remembered that I had purchased this sweater from Goodwill for Valentine's projects that never were completed. It has a snowflake pattern and was perfect for these ornaments. This is also a super easy and quick project for this busy time of year. Here's what you need:
