I've been busy making cards today. This is my third post for the day too. That's more than I've done in a whole week in the past few weeks! It's so nice to have a break, but it's almost over and almost time to get ready for the work week.
All of my cards in this post feature
BasicGrey Wisteria. That seems to be my "go to" paper this weekend.
First up is my card for the
Cuttlebug Be Inspired challenge 32- Butterflies. I don't have a Cuttlebug butterfly die, so I used a Sizzix die and embossed the wings with my Cuttlebug swiss dots folder. I also embossed a piece with the D'vine swirls and punched the small butterfly out of that so the little one is embossed too. The
Dutch Dare Card challenge this week is to use glitter and or bling. I did both to my butterfly. And did I mention that I struggled with this? I made the butterfly and did not like the colors. I could not figure out what I wanted to do with it, but finally settled on what you see here.

Here's a close up of the embossing

The
Caardvarks challenge is to "shape up". I've been meaning to make a shaped card but never have, so this was the push to do it. I found a flower template and traced it for my card. The plan in the beginning was to put the butterfly above on the flower card, but that didn't work out. I decided to stamp the words around the center. Those are from
Verve.
Last is a card I made for the
Whiff of Joy sketch challenge.

Thanks for looking. Hope all of you in the U.S. had a wonderful holiday.
